This performance explored how individuals communicate with others and how we can keep our own identity within a group.
base dance collaborated with Community Dance Wales involving 6 professionals and 70 young dancers from 6 boroughs in South Wales.

This 10 minute ‘taster’ of dance and animation using MAX MPS computer software, ‘live’ cameras and projection as the main source of light was created during FACETS 2006, an international dance and technology choreographic lab based in Bangalore, India.

LIVE – Integral – A fully developed work exploring the use of CCTV, video tracking and the issues of personal privacy. Using projections as the sole source of light.
LIVE – Batteries Not Included Tour – A small scale tour of Integral and the Chair works in the eastern region and Yorkshire.
FILM – Kitchen Dances – An interactive installation work which is based on lots of short films of people dancing in their own kitchen. It’s an exploration of an individual’s use of a space in an untraditional way.
